The Remix king says that he is "Ready"

So0o0o0o anyone who knows me knows that I am a HUGE Trey Songz fan!!! His musicality has major creditability in my book, and it wouldn't be right if I didn't include him in my 1st blog!

I've been listening to Trey Songz for about 3 or 4 years (since the Genius mixtape, his 1st mixtape) and I have loved his music since then and it helps that he is hella sexy too! (Getting my composure back into perspective hmm...) As much as I loved his music it bothered me that everyone didn't love it like I did, or at least I thought they didn't since his videos didn't get major play and his songs didn't get major air time. As years passed his popularity grew from mixtapes and being featured on other artists songs but not from his own craft. But now the braids are gone, the swag is tighter, and he is now "Ready"!

Musically, I'm currently in a creative space like no other. I feel as though whenever a mic is put in front of me, I can do no wrong. At a time in the music industry where album sales are low, fans are fickle, inconsistent, or more into the various songs than they are the particular

 artist, I feel that I must give you a reason to love me. Embed in you a desire to love me and an appreciation for the music. I must show you that not only do I LOVE what I do but I also do it well.

If you listen to Trey's lyrics in all of his songs they are advanced and catchy. I love the way he tells his stories among other things LOL :). He deserves more credit than he is allowed and although I can sit here all day and express and provide evidence as to why he's the ultimate artist i figure that I would let his up and coming album "Ready" speak for it's self on it's release date of Sept. 1, 2009.  So until his album drops his mixtape "Anticipation" is available for download! This joint has some bangers on it! Don't bang too hard though! 

Might I add that I am beyond excited for this one!!! I have faith that he will show and prove what I've believed in and saw all along! GO GET EM' TREY! YUUUP!

Facebook vs Twitter

There has been an on-going debate ranging from friends to marketing & advertising specialist about which social networking site is deemed to be "the best". When having a conversation like this it's preferred for you to be a  faithful user because the experience from both sites would be the ultimate evidence as to proving which site is on top. So let's take a look into both world's shall we?

In June, businessinsider.com pointed out 10 ways that Facebook was trying to copy Twitter. The list goes as follows:

• Status updates visible to everyone
• Asymmetrical connections between users
• Vanity URLs
• Real-time updates
• Pushing updates over SMS
• Real-time search of shared news
• Promoting and courting celebrities
• Live event coverage
• Follow companies the same as friends
• Unlimited connections

Although this is so, the competition between the two site are getting ugly, and mainly for Twitter. If you examine the situation, Facebook's user database is almost ten times larger than twitter's! Because of this, Facebook is more profitable (about $550 million more profitable) and because they are making more money, Facebook has more resources than twitter and can also afford more upgrades to the site's experience. Although Twitter is fresh & the popularity is spawning rapidly, Facebook has been around much longer which aides an advantage of having a stable user base, while Twitter is working to increase theirs. 

When examining what both sites have to offer there is more evidence as to which is best. While both sites have a real-time streaming capability (everyone can see what ever you post it as soon as you click send), but Facebook again has more advantages by offering the use of uploading pictures & videos straight to your profile (which doesn't have to be accessed through another site), a variety of applications & games, and chatting capabilities among other things. Twitter is very limited in what it offers to it's users but I'm sure they are working hard to come up with new things to lure more social networking users into joining their site. But while they're doing that facebook is ahead ten steps by creating and adding new applications ands tools, so it seems as if Twitter will always be playing catch up! Twitter is boring because it's just a bunch of status updates. On the contrary, it does offer a more intimate interaction with celebrities hence the Celebrity-stalking intel [which i love! lol :) ], and it offers a better mobile experience  than facebook but it's just not enough to replace it.

Verdict: FACEBOOK WINS!

"First Time"

I was nervous! I had no expectations towards the situation because I went in ignorant and oblivious at the fact of not knowing what I was getting myself into. I admit that just as much as I was nervous I was equally excited. I've anticipated the arrival of the moment where I would be a women; say what's on my mind, do what I want, all with no regrets. I started off slow. I chose not to give it all of my energy just yet because I didn't want to over-do it. I wanted it to be perfection, not realizing that because it was my first time I wouldn't achieve it, but I still tried. I started to formulate a picture in my mind of what it would be like as I attempted to do it but it was nothing like I thought. I ended up stopping but as time went by and I heard about other people's experiences I decided to go for it... The time finally came! The time is now! This is my FIRST BLOG!!!!!

I am super excited about entering the festive world of blogging. Although I am new, I look forward to becoming an avid blogger and entertaining your eyes with my randomness!
